Lift Notes:

⤷ means “has the effect of…”

⚡️ 3 things to focus on

1. Tactical: turn on every bump (no shopping), use earlier, more committed pole plant initiation 2. Technical: time the weight transfer to the top of the bump (much earlier) ⤷ be able to grip down the back of the mogul ⤷ more control in the bumps 3. Hack: pole plant + standing up ⤷ help you recenter and make that weight shift quickly

🏡 Try at home

- Try doing the weight transfer on the floor while visualizing the timing relative to bumps. (like pedalling a bike) - Visualize this sequence: pole plant (helps standing up) & stand up, transfer weight to outside ski (still on top of bump), grip down the back of the mogul

❄️ Try when skiing

- Earlier, forward, more committed pole plant ⤷ helps you commit to the turn. Remember "Stab'em in the toes, punch'em on the nose" - Slowdown to really try to hit every mogul without shopping - Subvocalize that tempo when you're in bumps - Try the timing & sequence on groomers, then get it nailed on mellow bumps - Aim to spray snow to the side (not down) AKA earlier in the turn ⤷ your turns will be rounder and less zig zag - Take it to big moguls

🎥 Clips for next time

See if you can get 1 clip of yourself on mellow bumps and 1 on big moguls. We can look into any breakdowns in timing and where it starts happening.
