💪 Visibly improved

- Much more natural body position & ankle flex - Way more symmetrical left vs right - Rounder high tempo turns Much more stacked vs 3 weeks ago & rolling right under upper body, but still skidding a little later into the turn. Will noticeably feel less boost out of the turn on worse snow/harder terrain.

💭 Focus on...

Upper body counter rotation is just your body compensating for a slightly tilted pelvis. - Shift hip a few inches towards the outside hips will be more level - Think about the upside-down "T" - "Barstool" = lift inner hip ↑ more stacked Easier to steer with more leg & hip socket freedom, better foot steering

📹 Try on snow

On harder terrain or worse snow (e.g. afternoon): -> start bigger & slower, decrease size & increase tempo. (Start with bigger turns to have more time)

💪 Awesome changes

- Sick filming 🙌 - Much better shape, sometimes still not fully rounded - Better roll now (keep working on it) tail following tip, gripping all the way thru

- Roll + lateral hip movement stacked 👍 Best turn: not pushing the feet away

🥾 Ankle / boot

- Ankle bit open chest currently pretty closed

- Getting more ankle flex help with roll & steer, more arc & tighter, pop

- Need to play with softer tongue / more forward lean. We'll find the right combo.

🥅 Goal: earlier but more patient weight shift

Earlier grip More balance for the outside ski & earlier Better arc & consistent pressure the whole turn Spray more to the side & earlier in the turn (vs tail not following tip & A-frame, hip involvement, late pressure, zigzag)

💪 4 strats to try

1. Edge rolls, 1 ski edge rolls (start on flat, try boots undone) 2. Vadles (spelt "Weldlens" because Austrian) & try edge roll & Vadle into short 3. Funnel (tempo progression to nail timing), feel for grip & cross hill boost 4. Really feel the whole foot throughout the roll, not too forward on the ball
